One person can't run every system. But a few thousand people who live off-grid have collectively solved almost everything — the fix that worked, the gear that quit, the number the spec sheet got wrong. That's the most valuable information in this entire field, and most of it never gets written down.

01Anonymous submissions are never published. No real name and working email, no publication. That's absolute — we can't credit or verify what we can't attribute.
02It has to be yours. Your words, your photos, your experience. Anything lifted from elsewhere gets rejected, and if we find out later it comes down immediately.
03No vendor pitches. If you're selling something, this isn't the channel. Real experience from real users only.
04Everything gets reviewed before it goes up. Especially anything touching electrical, gas, water or food safety. Submitting doesn't guarantee publication.
05Photos come later. Don't attach anything here. If your report needs images, say so below and you'll get an email to reply to.

Your name * Real name or the handle you consistently go by. This is what gets credited — anonymous submissions aren't published.

Email * So we can verify, ask follow-ups, and get your photos. Never published, never sold.

Gear or system involved Optional. Brand and model if relevant — helps a lot when verifying.

Your report * Specifics beat adjectives. Real numbers, what actually happened, how long you've run it, what you'd do differently. 50 characters minimum.
